Community-to-Community Forum
On
November 19, 2007, the Winalagalis
Treaty Group and the Regional District of Mount Waddington jointly
hosted a Community-to-Community Forum. Participants included elected
officials of local municipalities and the Regional District of Mount Waddington.

At its
conclusion, participants made Final Comments that consistently
centred on a few key themes: communication, regional cooperation, and
strategic action on concerns in the treaty process.
In
addition, most participants strongly urged sponsors to hold a similar
forum in the near future, to continue discussion and exchange. In the
meantime, the key themes point to what may be useful steps we can
take regionally to build on progress, and act on concerns.
