The Treaty
Group was formed to coordinate and administer treaty negotiations and
related activities that the participating Nations have agreed to
jointly undertake.
Working
together as the Winalagalis
Treaty Group, our four Nations are negotiating four separate
Comprehensive Treaties with Canada and the Province of British
Columbia. The Treaties will define a new working relationship
among the parties on Aboriginal rights and title, self government,
and lands, resources, and resource management.
