Traditional Land Tour
On June 3, 2003, representatives from the WTG member Nations, the BC Treaty Commission, the Canada and British Columbia negotiating teams, and WTG staff embarked on a tour of the Gwasala-'Nakwaxda'xw and Tlatlasikwala Traditional Territories.

Departing from Port McNeill, the tour included stops at Hope Island (Tlatlasikwala Territory) and Ba'as (Blunden Harbour, Nakwaxda'xw Territory).

Other highlights included cris-crossing Queen Charolotte Sound, a visit to Seymour Inlet, traversing Nakwakto Rapids, viewing numerous village sites, sighting Minke whales, and a hearty lunch.
